Objective: Create a brand identity for Explorio, an astronomy festival that aims to inspire people of all ages to explore and discover the universe with curiosity and ease.
Team: Magda Ienci (Astronomer, Program Director and Founder), Silvia Paizan (Art Director, Illustrator).
Key Visual: The central element of the visual identity is the telescope lens observing the sky—a recognizable motif easily adaptable across various mediums and formats.
Logo: Starting with a simple and readable sans-serif font, we customized it by incorporating astronomical elements such as stars, the planet Saturn, and curved lines suggesting cosmic movement.
Colors: The color palette is inspired by the hues of starry skies and galaxies. Dark gray, vibrant blue, with accents of orange and purple evoke curiosity and positive energy.
Fonts: Rounded and easy-to-read fonts create a friendly atmosphere.
Graphic Elements: Digital watercolor illustrations lend a creative and airy feel to the brand.
