This project has taught me a lot about handling tight deadlines and being systematic and efficient with my design choices. For three years, I’ve been creating systems & templates and adapting illustrations made by others, so that non-designers can use them easily.
I loved drawing the map. I should do more.
This is an example of an illustration I didn’t draw, but I had to ensure that non-designers could quickly produce visual materials in countless formats that still looked decent.
This festival ties together many different projects, there are many people involved, each with their own opinions and tastes. It often feels like a patchwork, and every year it’s a surprise how the visual identity will turn out.
